Ms. Truss has been openly called by more than a dozen Tory lawmakers to resign after another chaotic day as a leader.
Miriam Cates stated that Ms. Truss’s situation “seems difficult, if not impossible”.
Told by the Prime Minister’s spokesperson that Ms. Truss will not hold a press conference today and that there are plans for a cabinet reshuffle, the suggestion has also been denied.
